Our Christian Education Board sponsors a wide variety of educational activites for our state.

They are the motivating force behind the Palmer Leadership Institute. The PLI has offered six training modules to Missouri Pastors for their personal and leadership development. Completed over a three year period, the Institute has gone on to be a national effort being offered in several states. The Board continues to offer Leadership Training for our pastors through a variety of seminars, conferences and other events.

They sponsor the annual Minister's Retreat at the Cross Pointe Retreat Center at Rock Mount, MO. Held in March each year, the retreat offers pastors a three day opportunity to hear nationally known speakers as they relax in the atmosphere of the Lake of the Ozarks.

The CE Board also sponsors the Ministers' Wives' Retreat in April, also at Cross Point Retreat Center. Allowing the our pastor's wives to enjoy a weekend away being ministered to and fellowshipping with each other. Debbie Webster and Betsy Earls coordinate the retreat.  See Women's Ministries page.

A recent addition to the roster of offerings from the CE Board is the Leadership and Ministry Basics Program. The LAMB program is a mentored series of studies and readings beneficial to the young man preparing for ordination or the seasoned pastor looking for a refresher in the basics of the faith. Some of our local associations have adopted the LAMB program as a prerequisite for ordination.
